For customers who want peace of mind, we offer a 3-year nationwide road hazard plan through a trusted third-party insurer. This means your tires are covered against unexpected damage caused by road debris, no matter where you travel in the US.
Check out these plan features
3-Year Limited Warranty: This covers your tires for a period of 3 years. However, the warranty ends if any part of the tread wears down to 2/32 of an inch or less, whichever comes first.
Here’s what’s been improved:
- Replaced technical term: “Limited Warranty” is a more widely understood term than “Coverage.“

Protect Your Investment with Optional Road Hazard Coverage
My Tire Guys offers optional road hazard coverage to give you peace of mind. This coverage protects your new tires from unexpected damage caused by road debris during their usable tread life.
How Does It Work?
- If a road hazard damages your tire beyond repair, we’ll replace it with a new one.
- We’ll try our best to replace your tire with the exact same make and model.
- If the exact model isn’t available, we’ll install a comparable high-quality tire.
Coverage Details:
- Tires with damage within the first 33% of usable tread life (and are unrepairable) will be replaced for free.
- After the first 33% of tread wear, you’ll be responsible for a prorated amount based on the original price and remaining tread depth.
- Mounting, balancing, taxes, and other fees are not covered.
- Tires worn below 2/32″ of tread depth are not eligible for replacement under this coverage.
Important Note: If your replacement tire needs a new road hazard plan, you’ll need to purchase one separately.

Tire Repair
If your tire is damaged due to a road hazard and can be safely repaired, the tire will be repaired per manufacturer’s guidelines at any participating facility. The Plan will cover up $20.00 to have the tire repaired. The Plan will remain in effect.
Flat Tire Changing Assistance Explained
This plan provides flat tire changing assistance for 36 months from your purchase date. Here’s how it works:
- Need a flat tire changed? Call any service provider you choose.
- Can’t find someone nearby? We can help! Call 866-830-4189 for assistance locating a service provider.
- We’ll reimburse you up to $75 for the flat tire changing service (installation of your usable spare tire only).
- Important notes:
- This service does not cover towing or other repairs.
- This benefit applies only to motorized passenger vehicles (excludes trailers and vehicles listed in the exclusions and limitations section).
